I was doing gathers all morning, and it worked great. But when I turned it on this afternoon and adjusted the tension to +3 (to continue whats seems to be an endless amount of those damned gathers) the fabric did not gather in the least, it was like the machine wasn’t reading the tension setting. I have a CE4000 brother brand sewing machine. The bottom plastic cover is what (obviously) covers the bobbin. That has mysteriously gone missing. I can’t find this as an individual replacement part without buying a whole other sewing machine. Help?????
