I tried to thread the machine but the lower looper seems to be backwards and I can only sew with 2 threads even though this is a 4 thread serger. Any advise. I didn’t get a manual with this machine.
I fell i love with it’s Instant Jet-Air Threading, is there another one on the market with this kind of sistem and what are the costs??and there are a lot of models witch one should i choose??plz help me
ps: i have a singer sewing machine and a very old (ancient) serger i don’t know how the tensions work,it comes too lose or it breaks the thread so i wold like something that it’s easy to use and a good price…
I am specifically interested in babylock elegante
I have done quite a bit of research on this and I keep seeing BabyLock Imagine and Viking 936D. I have a Bernina sewing machine and I know they are great machines but the sergers that I looked at are much more than I am wanting to pay right now.
Does anyone know anything about the Brother 1034D?
Also does anyone have a coverhem machine? Is that worth the investment?
I bought a used Babylock machine. With a babylock, I use special hoops that are square and they lock into an arm.. How am I supposed to monogram dresses? I can’t do a doughnut formation because it covers up half of the linking… Please help… How do I monogram shirts and onesies? Thanks so much!
I have a babylock ea-605 with no owners manual. I found some instructions to thread it online and I’m pretty sure that it is threaded correctly. I am using the 4-thread configuration. I was forwarding it by hand and got the threads to start locking and it was looking good, but then I started it with the foot pedal and everything fell apart and neither the chain nor the overlock stich worked anymore. Now I can’t remember how I got it start locking in the first place. Does anyone know about this? Am I supposed to be pulling the thread tails in the beginning, or have no tension at all?
Helloo!
I need help picking out a sewing machine. I’ve never used a babylock imagine before but I have used the decorator’s choice. I heard the babylock imagine is good but I have no idea.
Which sewing machine is better from your experience & opinion?
Also what does the babylock decorators choice have, that the imagine doesnt? And so on
Thank you to all who answer! ^.^
i’m a beginner looking to buy a sewing machine i’m used to the babylock pro lite 6700 which i love! but i can’t but it anywhere. what type of simple machine would you suggest?
what’s the best sewing machine there is?
what all do i need to buy as a beginner?
i was always told that brother and babylock sewing machines are made in the same factory, yet babylock has higher standards. babylock has a stronger shaft in the machine and brothers are basically a disposable machine, especially the low end walmart ones. most brother machines are sold by walmart, target, costco, and such. no offense, but the service for the machine is not exactly there. you have to repackage the whole entire machine when one single thing goes wrong, send it in, and be without a sewing machine for months. as with babylock is really only sold by a local store that deals with sewing machines and only that, certified repair persons work on your machine and you don’t have to mess with sending it out of state for weeks or even months. what do you think of babylock vs. brother. give me some input, thank you.
I want to decorate this blanket for my friend, there was a sewing machine that I used in my fashion class at school that was really easy to use..like this one

I would get that one but they don’t do ordering online, and they don’t have a store close to where I live. I hate using the old fashioned ones; the bobbin always gets tangled up and they don’t have as many settings. Yeah, I’m not the greatest sewer but whatever. If you know of any easy-to-use sewing machine brands that I could order online that would be great.
i dont know what to buy? babylock or anything else?
I’m trying to make a shirred dress with elastic thread. I hand wound my bobbin with the elastic thread, set the stitch length to the longest stitch as directed on the elastic thread instructions, used regular thread on top stitch, but it doesn’t come out gathered! The stitches come out regularly, even with the elastic thread on the bottom…just a regular straight stitch, it doesn’t come out shirred or gathered at all!!!!! What could be the problem? I’ve even tried changing the tension but that doesn’t do a thing! Are these computerized machines made differently than regular machines, that would make it impossible to shirr? Please help me out!
I need to know what year this machine was made, and Where to get a manual?
Its a little older.. but my mom and I need help threading it. My grandma didn’t save the manual when she passed. Can anyone help us?
Thread the needle and bobbin etc.?
I own a babylock pro line sewing machine model bl 6300 and it keeps sewing backwards. i don’t know what to do!
i put in the top and bottom threading perfectly and im clueless on what to do! i think it has something to do with the settings please please please
help!
