I have a Brother sewing/embroidery machine and I would like to monogram some shirts on the cuff for someone. How do I do that? The needle would sew all the way through both sides of the cuff right? Do I need a special hoop or is this even possible with my machine?

I own the above mentioned machine, I have never had a book on it, now I’ve bent the needle and I do not have any idea how to remove it or replace. I am affraid I will mess but the machine. There are three places on needle shaft that I can tighten or losen. If I mess with the wrong one I will mess up the tension. Please I really need help with this, I am in the middle of a project.

I’m making a baby blanket and in the middle of sewing it gradually started making chunky/ clunky noises. it also started sewing slower.

I want to buy a sewing machine, and I went on overstock.com and they have some nicely-priced sewing machines. I’m particularly looking at the Brother brand.

I want to know what their rep is. If it’s a good brand, durable, etc.
I’ve read some reviews on overstock, but there isn’t much. I just want to be sure before buying something like that.

I would also like to know what specific type of sewing machine I should buy.

If Brother isn’t a good brand, could you please suggest a different brand/machine and explain why it’s superior?

I need help with my machine. I can make the needle move by using the hand crank thing, but when i press on the foot pedal it makes noise and does not move. Help, anyone?

I have lost the zigzag foot, the buttonhole foot, etc. and even bobbins. Where can I find them online?

I want something that is durable, user friendly for beginners, light and able to sew everything from thin cotton t’s to jeans.

I keep getting an error message E6, but there is no thread stuck; I’ve shut it off and let it rest, but it continues w/error message.

Is it a good machine? This is what they’re using on Project Runway. Are the machines expensive? I saw one at JoAnn Fabrics the other day…. But I didn’t see a price tag…..

everytime i load the bobbin and start to sew the top thread get wraped around and the bobbin case pops out….i have rethread EVERYTHING numerous times and when i did thread it each time the presser foot was up not down….HELP i am going crazy!!!
Ok the bobbin case isn’t clicking into place any ideas?!?!?

the bobbin won’t thread and i think it needs to be retimed…

I need to buy a bobbin plate, but the only one I can find online is for the XR-65T. Would this still work?

It will sew a few stitches then it makes a series of loud clicking noises and the thread gets caught up around the bobbin.
what is wrong with it and can I fix it myself?
I can take it in to get it fixed but I’m trying to save myself $62.50

I recently obtained a used VX-810 that didn’t come with a user manual. I have checked the Brother website, and they don’t have ANYthing about the VX-810. Have also checked other sites, and found one that will sell the manual for $15. Anyone out there know where I can download the manual for free?
