What I really need to know from you guys is if I bought designs off the internet can I transfer them to this machine. I realise I would have to purchase some software, but basically is it limited to what it can download?. Am looking to update my embroidery machine but not fork out too much as I would not be using it on an everyday basis, but would like the capability of getting designs off the computer.

I am looking for an Elmo applique design for my Janome machine. I could use the whole face or just the eyes, nose and mouth. I need it for a child’s second birthday. Any help would be appreciated!!

Sock Hoop For Embroidery Machine

In the middle of stitching out a design, my machine acts up. I get a warning that says ” check for bent needle / is the fabric too thick”.
Then the needle stops in the down position and the threads are knotted on the back side so that I have to cut them to get the needle up and the fabric out. Please if anyone can help me fix this, I would really appreciate it.

I just got a Janome 300E embroidery machine, but I need thread so I can try it out!
Any machine embroidery experts out there who can give me advice on the buying thread? I’d especially like advice on what kind works best, where I can get it the cheapest, should I buy it in sets or on a per-project basis….

I bought the USB flash drive and when I download files off the internet, it says it can’t work (or something.) Is there a step I’m missing in order to get my machine to recognize the files?
