- FOUR X-large Spools
- These are 60wt 2ply Filament Bobbin Thread.
- Each spool has 5000meters of thread on it.
- Each spool is brand new and is individually shrink wrapped to prevent damage from dust.
Product Description
Why buy these Bobbin Thread from us? – Polyester has little or no lint. Hence your machine will run longer between cleanings. This thread is very shiny appearance, thin, lightweight and yet extremely strong. Embroiders love this since it creates a soft backing, even on dense designs. Many machine quilters like using a filament poly thread in the bobbin. Due to it’s slick surface, it works well with metallic threads and heavy cotton threads. The slickness of the filament poly thread does not snag or grab the top thread. If you’ve had trouble using metallics or heavy cotton threads, a slick bobbin thread may solve some problems.

If you own one, please let me know how long it took before you could sew well enough to mend something or sew well enough to use it for embroidery and/or quilting. Does it jam up a lot? What type of problems did you have? Are you happy you bought it or do you wish you had not? What type of thread do you prefer using. Any tips or ideas would be very much appreciated. Its a huge investment. Thank you.

We have a Pfaff sewing machine that is years old (not sure how many). It had an embroidery attachment that no longer works and have been told it can’t be fixed. There are a few other minor glitches and we are wondering if it would be worth fixing or how much it would be worth as an antique. It is a System 130.

I am looking at buying a sewing/embroidery machine and I am lost when it comes to what brand to buy. I went to a store today and test drove a babylock esante and I really liked it It had a lot of neat features but I am still unsure. I also saw a HSN youtube clip for a singer ses1000 and I really liked all that it did (especially the picture embroidery and the fact that I can use clip art) but most of the reviews I read on it say its not worth the money. I just don’t want to put a ton of money in to something that isn’t going to live up to the price.
There are also two other dealers in town and I am going tomorrow to look at their machines. I want to buy locally and the brands I have to choose from are Pfaff, Babylock, Singer, Viking. What have you worked with that you like? What about the machine do you like most? I am trying to stay in a $3000 price range but opinions on all machines are welcome!

My wife just got a Creative 2170 Pfaff Sewing/Embroidery machine. We think the dealer set the 120V/220V-240V switch to the 120V setting used here in the US, but how can we tell?
Yeah, I see the picture in the manual, but it doesn’t look any different than the switch. The manual says it’s set at the factory for 220V, and the switch matches the photo. I can’t seem to move the switch because of the clear plastic blocker.
Okay, I finally found the single piece of paper in the box that explains my dilema…there is a block in the way of the switch movement that is to be removed. I wasn’t willing to just pull on it before I had confirmation I wasn’t breaking somthing. After the block was removed, I was able to switch it from 220V to 120V. (It wasn’t in the correct position originally.) Thanks for your time.
