I have a Singer Futura CE-100 that I’ve had for a while and just got back into practicing the embroidery part. It worked fine yesterday, but today when I hit the start button, nothing happens. I’ve gone through the step by step instructions just as its laid out, but once the design block has been sent, the darn machine won’t start!!!! errrrr. any help would be appreciated.
Okay, I just tried hand turning the wheel for awhile through the design and then hit the start button periodically, and all of a sudden it started embroidering….don’t know what, why or how…
Same problem today. Not starting after sending design to machine. I am hand turning, but it hasn’t kicked in yet. Any ideas on what would cause this?
There is a little button on the left hand side of the unit, near where the thread/needle mechanism is housed. I pushed on that and now it works again. Problem solved? I hope so!

What is the best type of thread to use for embroidery on the quantum ce200? I will be getting this machine this week and any helpful information would be appreciated

Ok, Not to long ago I asked if embroidery was hard. I was thinking about buying my friend’s machine that she had for sale. Needless to say, I didn’t buy the machine. It was a Singer. She also has a White that she uses. When comparing the 2 machines on the same design, the White did 100% better.

Please let me know if what I am looking for is possible and what it is called.

I would like to get a machine that you can hook up to a computer. I really do not wan to by the cards with designs on them. I would also like something that produces a decent product. As I mentioned the White was so much better and it wasn’t too complicated. I would like to get the White, but I think they are no longer making that model. I need something tha tis user friendly.

Can any suggest any machine that is kinda like that? Is there any useful websites out there for beginners who would like to start this hobby?

I want to buy a Singer Futura CE 200 embroidery machine

have seen so many. I really like brothers, but I saw one that singer has also. Which manufacture is better for beginners? I am looking for one that I can download graphics are use my own graphics.

Thinking of buying my first embroidery machine, but have a really tight budget. Looking at Singer SES1000, CE250, or CE150, as well as Brother PE700 series.

The Singer large hoops on these models has a specification of 4 1/2 x 6 3/4. The Brother hoop specs are 5×7.

Question: Will the Anita-Goodesigns (5×7) work with these Singer models?

I bought a Singer Futura CE150 and I have some really cool embroidery patterns. The problem is…I don’t know which format to use for my machine? Can anyone help?

I was in the middle of my machine embroidery project and changed thread colors. When I hit the start button I first got error message that I was using the wrong hoop. Not so. I hadn’t changed anything but the thread. I shut it all down and restarted the ce 150 software again and now my bobbin thread is showing instead of the color I am using. Any suggestions? Singer Co. is virtually no help.

I want to use some of Clotilde’s embroidery patterns, and Jo-Anns is having a decent sale on Singer. But what about Brother? Help?

I am a beginner. I want to teach myself – to embroider on a machine – so that i can make some money – I want to personalize baby clothes -like with the name and a little design – I don’t have thousands to spend – but I may be able to come up with $500 -is that enough?

I bought my wife the singer and it seems to me that there has got to be better software out there for controling the machine and for digitizing fonts and pictures.

I am saving up for an entry level embroidery machine. I am currently looking at (all in the same basic price range) Viking EM10, White 4400 or the Singer Quantum Futura. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with these machines?

Does anyone have a copy or digital copy of the Singer Futura CE 100 program with drivers? I received a Futura as a gift but the person that gave it to me couldn’t find the software. I have the Tutorial DVD and the Bonus designs CD but not the main program cd. When I contacted Singer they wanted me to pay $100.00 to replace it. How could they charge that much for something that came free with the machine and is needed for it to even work? Singer support SUCKS!!!
If someone finds the software a link would be helpful.

I just got this machine this weekend. The bottom stictches are perfect. The top stitches are loose, tangeling, and just plain distorted .I have tried using different backing and different fabrics. Nothing seems to work for me. I am starting to get really frustrated with this machine. I am on the verge of taking it back. Sad thing is I just spent a fourtune in formats and thread ( $400 just on thread ) I really want to get this right so I can use this to help with my quilting but seems this machine doenst like me.

just bought a new computer that has a 64 bit op system. I didn’t realize that drivers for my Singer required a 32 bit system. Can anyone help with a work around for this problem?

I am wanting an embroidery machine and was wondering if someone knows a reasonable priced machine that is easy to use. I have a Singer Futura machine that I have yet to figure out how to use.

I am starting a little online t-shirt company and want to purchase an embroidery machine to add multi-media to my designs… I don’t need a large hoop area, I just want something that is not going to break the budget.

I was looking at the brother SE-120D and purchasing the PE-Design software so I can embroid my own designs… Together the purchase would be like 600-700 bucks.

Then I found the Singer CE-100… it has a little larger hoop area, and the machine uses a computer and CD software to embroid, but I was reading up on it, and it sounds like it only works with downloaded designs… Does anyone know if I am able to create my own designs, I.E. my LOGO, on the software included with the CE-100 and then embroid them?
